Easy Street

Though the the Eagles debut of Take It Easy was 50 years ago (1972), it is amazing how relevant the chorus still seems today. Here, two years into the Covid pandemic, with armies gathered at the Poland/Ukraine border in answer to the latest Russian aggression for what some have feared may be the start of World War III, it is easy to lose one’s peace. Take it easy?

Anyone who has known me for a while can attest to the fact that I often speak of guarding my personal peace. When I do lose it, and it happens to all of us, I strive almost religiously to try and recapture it as soon as possible. Take it easy? Yes; maybe now even more than ever before. Peace, friends. Take it easy!
